Denomination: Dolcetto d’Alba D.O.C. (controlled denomination of origin).
Grades: from 12,50° degrees.
Production area: Medium hill 350 msl, Vergne Narzole hamlet; south east – south west exposure.
Planting: vineyard planted in 1988.
Soil: marly-calcareous-clayey typical of the Langhe.
Cultivation system: Guyot.
Harvest time: mid-September.
Type of vinification: traditional fermentation.
Ageing: 4 months in steel barrels.
Maturation: in bottle, can be tasted ready to drink.
Color: emerald red.
Scents: fruity with notes of ripe cherries and berries.
Flavor: harmonious and soft on the palate.
Food pairings: appetizers and first courses of the Piedmontese tradition. Serving recommendations: Serve at 18°C after uncorking if possible for at least 2 hours and aerate in carafe/decanter and strictly in crystal goblet.
