Denomination: Barolo D.O.C.G. Grade: 14°. Production area: 350 metres above sea level – Municipality of La Morra. Cultivation system: Guyot. Harvest: mid-October. Type of vinification: traditional slow fermentation. Aging: 2 years in Tonneau and 1 year in steel tanks. Maturation: 6 months in bottles lying down. Color: ruby red. Aromas: natural, typical of our terroir, of leather, liquorice and cherry. Taste: very intense and persistent and pleasant to the palate. Gastronomic pairings: tagliatelle and agnolotti, game and red meats, aged cheeses, typical Piedmontese products. Serving suggestions: serve at 18°C after uncorking, if possible after about 2 hours and airing in a carafe/decanter and strictly in a crystal goblet.
